Delivers LED-based low-level light relatively evenly across a broad area of skin. Visible and near-infrared light sources at several wavelengths can be selected according to the skin condition and the goal of the treatment. Unlike lasers, which concentrate high energy on a narrow area, it applies relatively low-energy light over a wide field. It can be used as a non-contact light treatment that applies no direct physical stimulation to the skin.
