Real-time ultrasound imaging lets the physician see the skin's internal structure and confirm where energy is being delivered during treatment. Transducers at depths of 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm deliver focused ultrasound energy to different layers of the skin. DeepSEE® imaging technology makes the underlying tissue visible, so the treatment plan can be fine-tuned area by area. Compared with the earlier Ultherapy system, it offers improved image processing and a refined operating environment, which increases visibility and ease of use during the procedure.
